Southwestern College (SWC) is hosting a Body Image Obsession Awareness Panel. The purpose of the event is to educate participants on food addiction, eating disorders, and body image obsessions. A panel of experts will be at the Chula Vista campus to discuss eating disorder screening and treatments. Panel members include SWC Personal Wellness Counselors, UCSD Eating Disorders Clinic, 12-step program members, and psychologists.
The panel welcomes students, faculty, staff, administration and the community to learn more about Body Image Obsession Awareness. The ultimate goal is to promote healthy beauty and fashion by educating ourselves, raising awareness, taking action, and staying connected.
