Tchaikovsky Perm Ballet and Orchestra

Since its inaugural performance of “Giselle” in 1926, the Perm Ballet has evolved into one of Russia’s internationally lauded ballet companies. Along with sharing the standards and style of the famous Kirov school, the Perm Ballet is unique in that it recruits from its own ballet school, Russia’s most esteemed academy for training dancers. On Saturday, April 5th at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido the group will be performing highlights from some of Tchaikovsky’s most spectacular ballets – Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker.
