Celebrate Cancer Survivorship: San Diego!

On Sunday, June 8^th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. thousands of San Diegans will celebrate life and learn how to live it better by taking part in the free annual celebration of life, hosted by Cancer Survivorship: San Diego! Bloch Cancer Survivorship Park, 4100 N. Harbor Drive, across from Lindbergh Airport in San Diego. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. free information will be offered on cancer treatment, prevention and support. The event includes; a huge health fair, educational presentations, cancer screenings, survivors’ stories, and family activities. Cancer survivors will be honored for their strength and courage, and the contributions of their families, friends, and health care providers also will be recognized.

Surviving cancer is an attitude about life and living each day to the fullest. Cancer Survivorship: San Diego! 2008 marks the 11^th anniversary of this celebration of life.
