17th Annual Mama's Day Event
San Diego – Mama’s Kitchen, a non-profit organization that cooks and delivers nutritional meals to clients with HIV/AIDS and other critical illnesses throughout San Diego County, will hold its 17th annual Mama’s Day event on Friday, May 9, 2008. Mama’s Day is the organization’s signature fundraising event and will be held at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Hundreds of guests will sample fare from 70 of San Diego’s hottest restaurants and chefs, while enjoying fabulous desserts, cocktails and music. A silent auction and opportunity drawing will be held. DJ Tim Altbaum will be at the turntables.
