Third Annual Encinitas Garden Festival May 3, 10am-4pm Experience an all-day celebration of community, gardening and horticultural heritage, with a self-guided walking tour of nearly 20 exceptional private gardens in Olivenhain Valley. In addition to the garden tour, the public is invited to visit Gardener’s Marketplace on the historic Olivenhain Meeting Hall grounds. The Marketplace will feature plants from boutique nurseries, artists, and other vendors. Docents from the Elijo Lagoon Foundation will be on-hand to talk about gardening alongside native habitat. While the Marketplace is free and open to the public, garden admission is by ticket only. Tickets purchased in advance cost $21 for adults and $7 for children (10 and under). The event is expected to sell out, but if tickets are still available on festival day, adult tickets will be $25, children’s tickets will be $10.
