As majority owner of the Phoenix Suns, Sarver leads one of the NBA’s most profitable teams. Sarver founded the National Bank of Arizona at age 23, making him the youngest person ever to found a national bank. Sarver and business partner Gary Cady founded Torrey Pines Bank in 2003, which became profitable only eight months after opening. Torrey Pines Bank assets have grown from $20 million to more than $600 million in only four years. Sarver currently serves as chairman and CEO of Western Alliance Bancorporation, a bankholding corporation with more than $4 billion in assets.
