The MEDIA ARTS CENTER SAN DIEGO would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the success of our Teen Producers Project! The 7th Anniversary Teen Producers Project Celebration and Scholarship Fundraiser will be held on October 22, 2008 at the Museum of Contemporary Art - Downtown at 1100 Kettner Blvd. San Diego, Ca 92101 from 5:30pm - 9:00pm. The event kicks off with an opening reception with celebrity guests, complementary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live music, a silent auction, and annual presentation of Teen Producers Project Scholarships. Immediately following the reception, the main event of the evening will include a screening of the Teen Producers Project’s award-winning videos from the past year. Since 2001, the Teen Producers Project has helped convert scores of at-risk youth into motivated young filmmakers. The program has helped them to create hundreds of films that document their lives and their communities. 100% of the proceeds of this event go directly back into the hands of the students, through scholarships and Teen Producers Project development.
