On Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5; 10am - 4pm, San Diego EarthWorks will host the seventh Annual GreenBuilt Tour, a self-guided tour of homes and businesses that feature "green" architecture and construction that saves resources, energy, water, your health, money...and our environment. Tour participants can find out from the tour site owners and builders what they did, how they did it, and why. Choose from 20 tour sites to visit (different sites on each day).
Exciting additions to our tour are the homes in Fallbrook, Bonsall and Vista. These homes have been built in fire risk areas and have used "green" construction and features for fire safety. They exemplify how building green can produce safe, efficient and beautiful homes! We are also featuring returning sites as well as new homes and businesses in San Diego and Carlsbad.
