The League of Women Voters will examine the 2008 ballot propositions at the Riford Center on October 10th from 10:30 to Noon. Open to the public without charge. Alice McCauley will explain the state and local measures and present the League’s independent evaluation. Stay for lunch afterwards and visit with your neighbors ($8 RSVP to 858-459-0831). The Riford Center is La Jolla’s adult community center and serves educational, fitness, and social needs of the area.
